Prank Phone Call
A prank phone call (also known as Phoney Phone Call) is where someone calls another person with the intent of making fun of them. Prank phone calls are often seen as harassment, though usually the person pulling the prank has usually been put up to it by a friend or family member of the ones being pranked.
Several prank call compilation albums have been released.
With the advent of Skype, more people are trying their hand at prank calls. However this usually falls firmly into the category of harassment as the people doing the calls usually go after the same target over a prolonged period of time.
