RPG

RPG stands for Role Playing Game, a genre of games, including but not limited to computer games. Many RPGs are related to Dungeons & Dragons and their internet derivative, the MUD (and subsequently, the MMORPG), although RPGs can exist outside of this pathway.

In military terminology, an RPG is also an acronym for a Rocket-Propelled Grenade, which is a over-the shoulder minimum-recoil grenade launcher, normally used as a field based anti-tank weapon.
