Description and Appearance

[edit | edit source]

Raccoons are usually brown or red in colour, with a black, facial 'mask' around the eyes. They have a long bushy tail with black stripes across it.

They are stealthy animals that can hide easily and outsmart predators. They can hide in bins, grass, bushes, even trees.

Raccoons eat pretty much everything, from rodents, eggs, toads, snakes and birds to even human food like apples or peanut butter sandwiches.
