Rebecca Sedwick was a 12 year old American who, on September 9, 2013, jumped from a tower, to her death, following intense cyber bullying.[1]
Polk County Sheriff arrested two alleged bullies.[1] The eldest of the two bullies had written "Yes, I bullied Rebecca and she killed herself but I don't give a fuck.", on social media.
Charges against the pair were soon dropped.[2] The 13 year old girl told reporters she didn't believe she had done anything wrong.[3] She also said Sedwick's death had impressed upon her the dangers of bullying, and she would, in future, speak out when she saw bullies in action.
