A recruitment microsite is a dedicated website used to communicate with candidates. Recruitment microsites benefit from their separation from a company's general website, allowing a layout that makes navigation easier for potential candidates. Microsites can be completely outsourced or integrated with your existing IT infrastructure. The microsite can be designed to incorporate your corporate image and promote your employer brand. Typical page titles include About Us, Benefits, Employee Profiles and Current Vacancies.

Providing a list of current vacancies allows candidates to find suitable roles online. One or more people can be given access to add, update and remove vacancies that appear, with each vacancy having associated information such as description, requirements etc. For employers with a large number of vacancies, a search facility can be added to make it easier for candidates to find roles that are of interest to them.

Dedicated recruitment microsites can run alongside traditional press campaigns and online campaigns that direct traffic to the site. This is particularly helpful as makes it much easier for candidates to find out more information and means that less information needs to be carried in job advertisements.
