Ross 128

Astronomer Frank Elmore Ross entered Ross 128 (alternately Gliese 477) into the Ross Star Catalog in 1925.[1] It is a dim red dwarf star, only 11 light-years from the Solar system.

In 2017 it was found to have an orbiting by an exoplanet, Ross 128 b, considered a super-earth.[2] It is at least 1.4 times more massive than Planet Earth.
