Sarah Quintrell is a British screenwriter, who was formerly a successful actor.[1] Most recently Quintrell earned praise for the scripts she wrote when she adapted the novel The Other Bennet Sister into a television series of the same name.

For Sarah, writing felt as natural as acting – both seemed all about losing yourself in the worlds of others. Then, after reading an interview about him, Sarah sent her first script to David Threlfall’s agent, and to her surprise he called her. It was the encouragement she needed to carry on writing.
