Saturn's rings

Saturn's rings are the most prominent debris ring in the Solar system. The debris rings around Planet Jupiter, Planet Uranus and Planet Neptune are much more tenuous than the rings orbiting Planet Saturn.

Tidal forces from Saturn's moons have a strong influence on Saturn's rings. Gaps in Saturn's rings are due to tidal forces from her moons. Moons can cause mutable spokes to appear in the rings.

Several moons orbit within the rings, themselves, carbing out gaps. They are referred to as shepherd moons.^[1]
