Steve Davis is an American executive who is a protege of Elon Musk.[1]
Musk brought Davis with him when President Donald Trump gave him the authority run the Department of Government Efficiency.[2] He had previously worked for Musk at The Boring Company, SpaceX and X. The Los Angeles Times called him Musk's "go-to cost-cutter".[1] The The New York Times called him DOGE's "effective leader".
