Stupidity

Stupidity is a human quality that describes a propensity to make errors in thought and action. It is the opposite of intelligence. Stupid individuals tend to ignore common-sense rules about behavior, such as looking both ways before crossing the street.

Forrest Gump, a fictional movie character played by Tom Hanks, states, "Stupid is as stupid does." In the movie, he plays a slow-witted individual who by good deeds and perseverence achieves success. In contrast, his quick-witted girlfriend becomes addicted to drugs and dies.
