[edit source]This is a port of material Howard Berkowitz wrote on Citizendium -- material that was deleted, I suspect, out of dislike for Berkowitz. I didn't like him either. But he could do good work. The quality of his work was extremely variable. When he did good work it should be preserved, even if we don't like him.
