- hcards are standardized machine readable fields. An article can state an individual's birthday, in text. But robots scanning articles for birthdays have to parse the text -- which is problemtic. Hcard fields, often found in {{infobox}} have the advantage they are unambigous. Geo Swan (talk) 17:52, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
