The first edit to this article here, says it is from wikipedia. I found that to be misleading.

I copied and pasted the wikipedia version from just prior to the first version here. When comparing the two versions only the first paragraph was copied from wikipedia. The wikipedia article was started in 2002, and, over the 9 years between when it was started and when it was copied hundreds of contributors had edited it almost 1300 times.

I think it is theoretically possible to determine who contributed to that first paragraph. But, it would take so long it is very close to practically impossible.

It was just a paragraph. Avoiding this attribution nightmare merely required paraphrasing that first paragraph.

In this edit I paraphrased the originl text. It is total rewrite. Arguably, this article no longer requires attribution to the original wikipedia authors, as none of their text remaina. Geo Swan (talk) 13:15, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
