I started the Wikipedia article, in 2008. It was recently nominated for deletion. I ported the most recent version, even though other contributors made subsequent edits. But all their edits were either trivial, or to the article's metadata. None of those edits altered the article's intellectual content. IMO the obligation to acknowledge Wikipedia contributors only applies to contributions substantive enough to merit copyright protection. IMO, trivial edits, that do not measure up to de minimis, and edits to metadata, do not merit copyright protection.

So, IMO, this port does not require attribution to Wikipedia.

I have made some updates, since 2008. Geo Swan (talk) 02:56, 14 July 2026 (UTC)
