Techstep

Techstep is one of the most common subgenres of drum and bass, and it possesses dark and sci-fi influenced sonorities. Most of the sound sources are synthetized with electronic material. It's mostly influenced by industrial music and techno. It is sometimes confused with neurofunk, an evolution of techstep which puts more emphasis on a futuristic/dark atmosphere and structures more typical of funk.
