The Bronze Age
Appearance
Historians and archeologists use the term The Bronz Age to refer to a period in human civilization when the apex technology was based on tools made from Copper and its alloys, Bronze and Brass.
About three thousand years ago it was replaced by The Iron Age. Bronze is an alloy of Copper and Tin, while Brass is an alloy of Copper and Zinc. Ancient people knew Tin, but did not know Zinc, so all ancient alloys were known as Bronze.
