The Young Divas

The Young Divas is an all-female singing group that is made up entirely of contestants from Australian Idol, a number of whom are aboriginal. While the group decides for itself who is in it, it has become an avenue for contestants to have a successful career when they as solo singers might not have made it. The concept began in 2004 with both the winner and runner up joining together to form the band, after seeing the rivalry between 2003 winner Guy Sebastian and 2003 runner up Shannon Noll.
