Trans-Neptunian object

A Trans-Neptunian object, in astronomy, is a body which orbits the Sun beyond Neptune.

Pluto was the first Trans-Neptunian object to be discovered, and it was classified as a planet until 2006.

Objects in the Kuiper belt are classified as such, and so are those in the Oort cloud.
