Transparent background

Transparent background is a visual effect used on images. It is useful for making logos or cutouts that can be moved around against different backgrounds.

Methods[edit]

Word then Paint 3D[edit]

Within Word:

  1. Insert image into Word
  2. Left click
  3. At top menu - Format > Crop > Crop to shape
  4. Pick oval shape and crop it. (for circle logos. Other shapes are available)
  5. Copy

Within Paint 3D:[edit]

  1. Open new file
  2. Click Canvas (on the menu at the top)
  3. Flip "Transparent Canvas" switch to on
  4. Paste the image in
  5. Save
