Transparent background
Transparent background is a visual effect used on images. It is useful for making logos or cutouts that can be moved around against different backgrounds.
Methods
[edit | edit source]Word then Paint 3D
[edit | edit source]Within Word:
- Insert image into Word
- Left click
- At top menu - Format > Crop > Crop to shape
- Pick oval shape and crop it. (for circle logos. Other shapes are available)
- Copy
Within Paint 3D:
[edit | edit source]- Open new file
- Click Canvas (on the menu at the top)
- Flip "Transparent Canvas" switch to on
- Paste the image in
- Save
