Turkey (bird)
Turkeys are mean old birds that people eat on Turkey Day. They can be decently large. Stuffing is sometimes cooked inside the bird, and the resulting product can be called "turkey stuffing".
Wild turkeys are impressively large birds and can be quite beautiful. Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird, unlike eagles which are carrion-feeders and remind one of imperial Germany and Austria.
