U.S. Marshall Service

The U.S. Marshall Service is one of the United States' Federal Police agencies. Like the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), it is part of the Department of Justice.

It is one of the oldest Federal agencies, being able to trace its founding to the Judiciary Act of 1789 -- from the first season of the USA's first Congressional session.
