IMO Talk:Agatha_Christie#Provenance is an example of what is required for legal compliance with the license of the original Wikipedia contributors'. About 20 years ago the WMF asked for the legal opinion of lawyers who specialize in intellectual property law. They were told merely listing the wikipedia contributors wiki-IDs was sufficient for compliance. Geo Swan (talk) 20:42, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
