Vampire

A vampire is a fictional monster that must drink blood to survive. Most vampires start out as humans but are turned into vampires when another vampire bites them. Vampires have pale skin and fangs. They are also hurt by sunlight. Some can turn into vampire bats. Dracula is a famous vampire.

Vampires are repelled by garlic and by crosses (crucifixes).

Vampires cannot stand to look in mirrors. Either they cast no reflection, or they find their reflection so abhorrent that it terrifies them.
