WWF

The WWF can mean either the World Wildlife Fund or the World Wrestling Federation. The professional wrestling federation has since changed its name to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), although they have also split into several other professional industries.

The World Wildlife Fund is a charity organisation that worked towards protecting endangered species. They are similar in many ways to PETA, although not as aggressive. Whilst PETA is described in some sections as a terrorist organisation because they throw blood at people who wear fur coats etc, the World Wildlife Fund merely works to educate people as to the plight of various endangered species and how to protect the environment. While the World Wildlife Fund's primary aim is the preservation of animals, they are also interested in preserving plants and the environment as a whole.

World Wrestling Federation was an American professional wrestling association that staged pretend fights between glamorous personas. All of the fights were fixed, with fake punches thrown, fake personas and various glamorous personalities. Many of the wrestlers ended up going into acting, including Andre the Giant and Mr. T.
