Aikido

The Japanese martial art aikido was synthesized by Morihei Ueshiba Shihan from earlier Japanese close quarters fighting techniques, including jui jutsu.[1] Like another recent body of techniques, Judo, he deprecated the deadly techniques from the practices used during Japan's warlike past.[2]
