Bad Company UK
Bad Company is the nickname of a group (once four people, now two) of musicians who produce drum and bass music. The original members were Maldini, Vegas, D-Bridge, and Fresh. They formed in 1999 from the ashes of Renegade Hardware act Future Forces.
Bad Company produced four LPs and various singles which were very popular. The group somewhat ceased to exist as Fresh left Bad Company to pursue several solo projects under different labels like Ram Recordings, Breakbeat Kaos, V-Recordings and Valve. D-Bridge left the group as well to produce music in a solo career, while Maldini and Vegas still produce music together under their aliases. The latter duo have kept using the name of the group, but changed it to Bad Company UK as there was a legal battle over the name, because another group with the same name which formed in the '70 existed.
Bad Company had a fan userbase on the internet, on a forum of their official website. The forum expanded and became Dogs On Acid, one of the largest drum and bass discussion sites on the internet.
Recently, Maldini and Vegas have cooperated with with Swiss producer Uman forming the group Blokhe4d.
