Bali bombing

The Bali bombing is a name given to a terrorist attack in a Bali nightclub which killed over 100 people, many of whom were Australian tourists on holiday, including a number of celebrities. The group who claimed responsibility for the attacks are said to have loose ties with Al Qaeda (at least, to be of the same religion) and the attacks were speculated to have been related to Australia's involvement in the war in Iraq.
