Blogspot is a domain used by the Blogger website.

This site surpassed Live Journal in popularity, and hence the term "blog" became far more widespread than the term "online journal" or "online diary".

Blogspot and Blogger have since been surpassed in popularity by Facebook.

Blogspot has built in features that allows publishers to attempt to monetize their published content.
