Bones

Some animals (called vertebrates) have bones.

Bones are made from calcium and phosphorus. Little cells live in them, named osteoblasts and osteoclasts.

Dogs like to chew on bones. Sometimes dogs will bury bones, and save them for later.

On average, bones are 14% of the total weight of a person.
