Chartered statistician

From Encyc

Chartered statistician is a qualification that may be awarded by the Royal Statistical Society to someone who meets the Society's high standards of competence, experience and ethics. Only a small proportion if the RSS's fellows have been granted this award.

Under English law, there is nothing to stop anyone calling themselves a statistician. However, they may only use the title Chartered statistician with the permission of the RSS, and it may be withdrawn at any time if the holder is shown to have breached the RSS's ethical code.
