China Zun
Appearance

As of June 2026[update] the 109-storey building named China Zun, also known as CITIC Tower, is known as "China's tallest skyscraper".[1]
On Friday, June 26, 2026, a small plane struck the tower.[1] The Washington Post reported the plane was a Sunward SA60L Aurora, a 1,300 pounds (590 kg) 2-seat aircraft, made in China.[2]
Chinese law enforcement officials directed by-standers to quit recording the event, and leave the area.[2] The Washington Post]] reported that Chinese security officials quickly scrubbed all mention of the incident from Chinese social media.
