Classical Kuiper Belt object

In Astronomy the term classical Kuiper Belt object refers to objects in the Kuiper Belt, that are not in resonance with Planet Neptune, and have relatively low orbital eccentricity.[1] These objects are nicknamed "cubewano".

(15760) 1992 QB, the second Kuiper Belt to be discovered, is a classical object.[2][3]

Objects that are not resonant, with highly eccentric orbits, are called scattered objects.[1]
