Clwydyfagwyr
Appearance

Clwydyfagwyr is an area in the west of Merthyr Tydfil, south Wales.
The name comes from the Welsh words "clwyd" (hurdle), "y" (the), and "fagwyr/magwyr" (wall or enclosure).[1]
Clwydyfagwyr was originally a farming area. In the 19th century rows of houses were built, for workers at the nearby mines. In the 20th century it was expanded further with council/suburban housing.[2]
