Cutter's Way

From Encyc
Old Spanish Days man on a horse

Cutter's Way is an early 80s post-Vietnam film with Jeff Bridges, John Heard, and Lisa Eichhorn.

It is something of a psychological thriller, in that the viewer is never quite sure of the reality of the situation. It captures the transition from the post-Vietnam era of the 1970s to the glitzy, corporate, 1980s.

It is set in Santa Barbara, California.

It is based on the crime novel, Cutter and Bone, by Newton Thornburg.
