Ed Rush
Ed Rush is an English DJ and music producer, who focuses on jungle music and drum and bass. He has been influential, along with Optical, in the shaping of a particular form of drum and bass, called neurofunk, which borrows aspects from techno and sci-fi ambient music. He came to prominence with the release of the track Bludclot Artattack in 1993, made in cooperation with Nico S. [1]. As techstep was a new emerging subgenre of drum and bass music in that period, he produced tracks like Guncheck (1995), Killamanjaro (1996) and Skylab EP (1996). In 1998 he cooperated with Optical, creating their own label Virus Recordings and releasing the Wormhole album, one of the first to show a dark, sci-fi influenced sound.
