Can a diff please be provided as to why we need a one month ban on ChildofNight? Really a month? I saw a few diffs and this seems excessive. If civil and respect can be adhered to from this point forward, I would support no ban.. otherwise... maybe just a week or a few days. Wikademia

I think his/her talk page says it all (as well as the history of my talk page & of my userpage). If both civility & maturity can be respected then yes. I see no problem with this. He (or she) has to learn how not to bite the hand that feeds, not to lash out with childish namecalling, incivility, vandalism & childish behaviour. He (or she) needs to learn to work together; that we all have the same goals & nobody's "against" anyone. If that can be done, yes. I have no problem with unbanning him/her - but he only thing I did was rollback a few edits (which I thought were questionable) and then the epic drama started. Nobody needs that.
I do know what I'm doing, you're just unaware of everything this person has done to warrant said block. I don't take bans lightly. To me, they are to be used as a last resort when communication fails. I've tried a discussion. Obviously this person doesn't want to have a discussion & continues to attack the very person who's trying to help him/her.
I am not giving this person another chance. I'm not unblocking. I already gave this person once chance and he/she blew it. This all started when I reverted some of his/her edits & he/she objected to that. Then it was non-stop attacks, even when I tried to calm this person down. My block is justified. It stays. If Emperor wishes to overturn it (this is a benevolent dictatorship after all ;), he's free to do so. Nathan 21:29, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Thank you both for helping. In this case, it seems like Nathan had it right all along. Auggie 14:08, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Sometimes, I really do hate being right. Nathan 14:36, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Just wanted to chip in and say sorry that you had to deal with this rather cancerous presence. At the English Wikipedia, ChildofMidnight was recently handed a 1-year ban per this Arbitration case, brought about by pretty much the same behavior y'all have seen here. Looks like he'll be testing the waters a bit with other wikis; I feel sorry for the admins of the next one he tries. Tarc 23:33, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
I'd find it highly amusing if someone told one of the Arbitors that CoM came here & they saw who banned CoM. That be hilarious. I'd laugh. Apparently, CoM called you a troll on his talk page. What a shock... I guess anyone who disagrees with him is a troll..and here I thought the word "troll" only had two meanings. What do I know, right? :P Nathan 00:31, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Suspected sockpuppet of ChildofMidnight (talk · contribs) is: Rebel (talk · contribs), per edits (seems to fit the same editing pattern).
