Gibson
Gibson is a musical instrument manufacturer, known primarily for guitars and amplifiers. The company also owns Epiphone, its former competitor.
Gibsons tend to use humbucking pickups, though they can sometimes be found with wide, flat single coils like the P-90. They also manufacture acoustic guitars.
Gibson has been raided twice by federal agents in the last few years over issues related to the use of imported wood and the Lacey Act. It has not been convicted of any crime, though thousands of dollars worth of wood and computer equipment have been confiscated.
