82 Eridani

From Encyc
(Redirected from HD 20794)

The yellow dwarf star 82 Eridani is located 19.71 lightyears from the Solar system.[1]

Its mass is 85 percent that of Sol, our sun, and it is estimated it will remain on the main sequence for 15 billion years.[1]

It is orbited by multiple exoplanets.[1] One of its exoplanets, 82 Eridani d, dips in and out of the star's habitable zone.[2]
