Justapedia

From Encyc

Justapedia is a wiki encyclopedia written in the style of Wikipedia. Most articles were forked from the English Wikipedia around 2022. As a result, Justapedia has more than 6 million articles.

It uses the MediaWiki platform.

Justapedia is owned and operated by the Justapedia Foundation in Texas, United States. The Foundation is led by Betty Wills.

History[edit | edit source]

Justapedia was forked from Wikipedia due to the founder Betty Wills' disagreements over Wikipedia POV (point of view) issues, mostly regarding politics and history-related topics. Justapedia has a more conservative stance than the English Wikipedia. Other than that, Justapedia is essentially a 2022 mirrored archive of the English Wikipedia.
