Leigh Brackett

Leigh Brackett was an American screenwriter who wrote The Big Sleep, The Long Goodbye, and early drafts of The Empire Strikes Back. She was also a science fiction writer.

Her writing influenced The Big Lebowski, a film by the Coen Brothers.
