Lucien Muratore

Lucien Muratore (born Marseille, 29 August 1878; died Paris, 16 July 1954) was a French tenor.

He studied in the Marseille conservatory, then in Paris where he made his debut in 1902. He performed regularly in Chicago, 1913-24. He retired in 1931.

A good actor, he was notable as Gounod's Faust, Richard Strauss' Herod and Don Jose in Carmen.
