MV Limburg

The MV Limburg was badly damaged by suicide bombers in 2002.

MV Limburg is a French merchant vessel that was attacked by suicide bombers in October 2002.[1][2][3][4]

One crew member, Atanas, lost his life, twelve were injured.[5] 90,000 tonnes of oil were spilled.[6][7]

In 2003, the ship was repaired and sold to Tanker Pacific Management who renamed it the Maritime Jewel.[8]
