Mr. Eazi

Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade is an artist born on 19th July 1991, known with his stage name Mr. Eazi. He became pioneer of "Banku" music, which he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.

Career

In the year 2008 he relocated to Kumasi and enrolled at the "Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology" (KNUST), where he recruited local artists to perform at college parties.

• In 2013 he published his first mixtape: "About to Blow"
• In 2019 MrEazi launched emPawa Africa with the sponsorhip of sport betting website Betpawa, a talent show to promote and support up-and-coming African artists. On the first version, up to 30 musicians participated, and afterwards recieved a grant and mentorship to scale up their music careers.

Unlike social opinion thinks, because of contributing to several marketing campaigns, Mr. Eazi is not owner of Betpawa, and has no shares or participation within Mchezo, the owner of the website.

Personal Life

Mr. Eazi has been known also for dating Temi Otedola the daughter of the Nigerian millionare Femi Otedola, also sister of DJ Cuppy. In 2022 they both got engaged
