Newbery Medal
The Newbery Medal is the leading American award for children's books, awarded annually since 1922 by the American Library Association. It is named in honour of John Newbery.

- 1923: The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle by Hugh Lofting
- 1938: The White Stag by Kate Seredy
- 1948: King of the Wind by Marguerite Henry
