Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia is one of Canada's ten provinces. Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are east of Quebec on the south shore of the large St. Lawrence Estuary.

Its major city is Halifax, a major sea port.

The fishing industry is economically important. The area is also known for its intense tides.
