Pierre Laval

Pierre Laval was the prime minister of Vichy France, second only to Petain. He gained a reputation as a ruthless war criminal who used repressive police tactics to control France, and send thousands of Jews and other French citizens to concentration camps.

Following the war he was convicted of treason and executed.
