Siwarha

Siwarha is a star, or proto-star, that is a companion to Betelgeuse. Its period is about six years, about 2100 days, and it is believed to already be orbiting with Betelgeuse's photosphere. It is speculated that Betelgeuse may fully absorb Siwarha, in the next ten thousand years.

As a red supergiant star Betelgeuse entered the main sequence approximately ten million years ago, and has already exhausted its available Hydrogen, and is now in the brief period of Helium fusion, Carbon fusion, or Silicon fusion, before it goes supernova.

Siwarha is believed to be more massive than Sol, our sun, but much less massive than Betelgeuse, and may not have begun its Hydrogen fusing period.
