TOI-700 e
Appearance
TOI-700 e is an exoplanet Astronomers believe may be an Ocean world orbiting its star, TOI-700, within its habitable zone.[1][2][3]
The exoplanet's discovery was announced in January, 2023.[4] TOI-700 d, one of 3 sister planets, discovered in 2020, is also believed to in TOI-700's habitable zone.
TOI-700 is a red dwarf star, which, at an estimated mass of 40 percent Sol's mass, is at the upper end for M class stars.[4] The TOI-700 system 102 lightyears from the Solar system. All four planets are believed to be tidally locked to TOI-700. Exoplanet TOI-700 e year is 28 days long.

“The newly-discovered planet, TOI-700e, is about 10% smaller than planet TOI-700d, so the system also shows how additional TESS observations help us find smaller and smaller worlds.”
