Interesting article, Blissy, but I can't say I agree with most of it. Jews were Hitler's primary obsession as he explicitly shows in Mein Kampf, with hundreds of speeches, and by passing laws against them. The number killed was certainly around six million and not the extremely wide range you suggest. They were killed not by the "Nazi party" but by Germany as a nation, along with other Axis powers. Since the war, Germans have faced up to this difficult fact and tried to make amends, but that doesn't mean we should forget what happened or try to blame it on a small subgroup.

However, since you are the only person who bothered to write a Holocaust article on the MediaWiki, I'll let it stand for now. Hopefully you'll explore the external sites listed at http://encyc.org/Holocaust and make corrections as you learn more. Duke of Puke 12:02, 8 July 2008 (EDT)
