Trefeglwys

Trefeglwys (meaning "church town") is a village and former parish in Powys, Wales. It was in the historic county of Montgomeryshire.[1]
The parish was made up of the townships of Bodaioch, Maestrefgomer, Esgeirieth and Dolgwden. Today the area is governed by Trefeglwys Community Council, alongside the villages of Llawryglyn and Staylittle.[2]
St Michael's Church in Trefeglwys was rebuilt during 1864 and 1865. The earliest church in the village dates back to the mid-12th century.[3]
